Today I have a special guest, a friend of mine who’s epic book Dancing With Sin is released today on Amazon! We had a great chat and she answered some burning questions about her process, projects and being an author. Say hello to Alexandria Lee!

Introduce yourself, what’s your penname(s) if you have one and where can we find you online?

Hi! I’m Alexandria Lee, or as the online writing community knows me, LittleMinx or Minx. I’ve been known as Minx for close to 6 years now on as its where I started my writing journey!

What made you start writing?

One day, I ran out of books I wanted to read in a very specific trope. (Student/Professor) So, on a whim, I wrote the book I wanted to read! It is a terrible book and I like to pretend that it doesn’t exist, but it’s what made me fall in love with writing more than any other art form I’ve ever studied/been a part of.

Why did you choose erotica/erotic romance?

I love love and have always been a hopeless romantic since I was little. Romance is the thing that gets me out of bed in the morning, keeps me daydreaming during work, and creates my dreams at night. As far as why I love erotic romance specifically, if I’m going to write or read about a couples journey to meet and fall in love and every little moment in between, I want to be there for the naughty moments too! Sex is a healthy part of life and relationships and should be celebrated rather than hidden behind curtains.

What is your favourite part of being a writer?

Taking my readers through a vast array of emotions. If I want them to laugh, they laugh. If I want them to cry, they cry. I think being able to connect with strangers on emotional levels through my words is such a cool thing to be able to do!

Do you have a Harry Potter house? (I’m a Ravenclaw but no pressure!)

-I was *told* I was a Griffyndor or however you spell it. I like HP, but I’m not a devout fan. Don’t hurt me! lol

If someone paid you $100k right now for your WIP what would you spend it on?

Paying off student loans, what else?

If you had 24 free hours to binge watch any TV show what would it be?

Friends. Always Friends. They were NOT on a break. I can prove it!

Tell us about your latest project…

My latest project is titled There’s Venom in Her Kiss. It’s a dark, forbidden romance about a fiery woman with a death wish being taken across the country by one of her father’s FBI Agent’s to deliver to her father after she’s committed a felony, and all of the taboo trouble they get into together as bullets fly and a few sparks too.

It’s dark, angsty, emotional, and steamy. All of my favorite things a book can have!

Thank you so much for coming out to share with us Minx! It’s been great having you here. Readers can find Dancing With Sin on Amazon today!

Alice Monroe is a good person who is about to do a very bad thing.

A professional dancer at twenty-four, Alice had worked tirelessly for years to achieve perfection in all areas of her life. She had the perfect boyfriend, the perfect dream job in her pocket, and the unfortunate, naïve belief that perfection was built to last.

All it took was one night to tear down everything Alice had built for herself until she was left single, jobless, and her heart stained with betrayal. With her tail tucked between her legs, she drives to Chicago to move in with her older sister until she’s back on her feet.

Little did she know that this was just the beginning of her twist of fate nightmare. Ethan Black is waiting for her in Chicago as a perfect stranger, but soon after he and Alice meet, it’s impossible for either of them to deny that they’re destined to be much more.

The only problem?

Ethan’s engaged to be wed to her sister.
